Growing older is inevitable, but there are many ways of holding back time and looking your best. You can appear 10 years younger by following these facial tips:

  1. Cleanse and moisturise your face daily with products that match your skin type. Your facial skin is only around 0.12mm thick and very delicate. It takes a constant battering from diet and dust, and needs to be respected with due care at all times. Use a moisuriser with a high UVA, at least SPF 30 during the summer and SPF 15 in the winter. Don’t forget to moiturise your neck too!
  2. Drink plenty of water everyday. Approx 70 % of the body is mad up of water, and it is vital to your skin’s wellbeing. Waters keeps your face looking fresh and radiant.
  3. Stop sun worshipping. Every time you get a tan – it means that you have suffered some skin damage. UV from sun beds also has the same effect and cause premature ageing.
  4. Treat your face to a good diet. Eat lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, and wholegrains. These foods will enrich your skin with the vital vitamins it needs to stay healthy.
  5. Invest in an electronic muscle stimulator for a ’surgery-free face lift’. Invest in an EMS machine (electronic muscle stimulator). It is painless, safe, and convenient, and exercises sagging face muscles.
  6. Be happy – Smile & Laugh. Smiling and laughing naturally exercises facial muscles, whereas frowning increases wrinkles where we don’t want them!
  7. Be careful when using facemasks. Some facemasks contain harsh ingredients which dehydrate your skin -doing more harm than good. Try a natural home-made remedy – such as a beaten egg white mixed with 2 teaspoons of cornflower, or alternatively – a mashed-up banana with a tablespoon of honey.
  8. Give up soking. Smoking robs your body of valuable vitamin C. Fact – your skin will produce more wrinkles than a non-smoker.
